Love Poem

I was dangling out there on a string,

dark, slashed by sleet, dashed on stone.

Now I’m rolling in whipped cream,

wrapped in joy.

Watch how fast I knit our skyscraper!

You did that

when you threw your blanket around me,

your delicious angel breath.

Right now all I want to do

is blow bubbles and laugh!
